THE AUTOGYRO FROM THEORY TO PRACTICE
The author invites you, in the first chapter devoted to mechanics, to discover the gyroplane in all its details, from the front wheel to the rear wheel, through the study of the calculation of the motorizations necessary for the device you wish to build. Everything is told to you about the construction, the pre-launchers and the final adjustments before the first flight.
The second part deals with the aerodynamic aspect of the machine; after a reminder of the basic knowledge, you will know everything about the operation of the rotor and the aircraft in flight.
Finally, the flying course begins with the learning of the ground handling, until the improvement for the most experienced pilots; are also treated the emergency procedures, engine failures at takeoff or over a lake!
From the revival of the formula La Cierva (1921) by Igor Bensen in the years 1955, to the study of the current gyros, you will know everything about the design, realization, development and piloting of this aircraft.
