More than a simple cramming exercise, the purpose of this book is to allow you to tackle in depth the technical and regulatory issues related to the operation of a UAV and to accompany you long after graduation.
The MCQs change over time, but your technical knowledge will deepen throughout your experience as a remote pilot and this book will be there to help you do so.

The aim is to present the theoretical knowledge necessary for the remote pilot as part of his initial training and to maintain his skills.

The " savoir " prepares for the " savoir-faire " and it is in the first named that this manual is written.

This concerns the description and operation of the UAV's components as well as the principles of its flight, the meteorological environment in which it evolves, the general and specific regulatory framework that concerns it, the principles of navigation, the conduct of the mission in an operational scenario and fundamental knowledge of human performance.

For this book, the aeronautical expertise of Régis Le Maitre, engineer and teacher at ENAC, and already a major contributor to pilot manuals, and the specific competence of Bastien Mancini, co-founder of DELAIR, French manufacturer of UAVs, are combined.
Designing, writing and publishing a preparation manual for an exam is a challenge since it is by definition aimed at disparate audiences, with different prerequisites from one candidate to another. This is why this type of work is necessarily a compromise. We think we have struck the right balance.
