Helicopters from the lineage of the first R22 helicopter designed by Franck Robinson are today the best-selling civilian helicopters in the world. Its honourable performance, reasonable purchase price and low maintenance costs have made it a helicopter that cannot be ignored. You will hardly find a pilot who remains neutral towards this machine. It has its camp of fierce detractors as well as a growing majority of pilots who swear by it. Its modernity and lack of maintenance between overhauls have unfortunately led some pilots to become overconfident and careless. Nevertheless, this machine remains a helicopter with all its mechanical complexity. Its great agility requires a piloting finesse that does not forgive some bad reflexes.
