SAINT-EXUPERY, THE MEANING OF A LIFE

Born in Lyon in 1900, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry disappeared during a war mission over the Mediterranean in July 1944. As certain signs suggest, he had accepted the sacrifice of his life. The authors of this book, Resistance fighters, former minister, university professor, religious leader, diplomat, historians, soldier, engineer, aviators, businessmen, friend or relative, wanted to give an overall view of the life and work of Saint-Exupéry, and to recall the messages he had addressed to men for the "refoundation" of a world that would be more sensible and more humane.
