Ever since men have been building flying machines, they have exerted an irresistible fascination on young people between the ages of seven and seventy-seven. Proof of this is the renewed success of aerial events - from regional air shows, through open days, to major international meetings that attract thousands of enthusiasts of modern and vintage aircraft, both civilian and military. For Joe Rimensberger, who comes from this crowd of enthusiasts, aircraft and photography have gone hand in hand for more than forty-five years! He experiences the special excitement of taking pictures of an aircraft in flight from another aircraft, in terms of insiders: air-to-air photography. Especially attracted by the formal aspect and the subtle harmony of each type of aircraft, he focuses his interest on vintage aircraft.
