For twenty years, the author was an investigator and Director of Investigation in the Gendarmerie des Transports Aériens de Toulouse. During his career as a Judicial Police Officer, he intervened in the Midi-Pyrénées region, on more than fifty aeronautical occurrences, involving both certified general aviation aircraft of all types, and motorized ultralight aircraft of all classes. In this book, he chronologically sets out a working method, the fruit of his extensive feedback, before tackling the various responsibilities and their cortege of sanctions. Beginning or experienced aeronautical investigators, general aviation pilots and members of flying clubs, aircraft pilots or U.L.M. pilots will find in this guide, the answers to many questions, concerning both the different phases of the investigation and the legal aspects attached to it.
