The Security of the PPL

Must have been a routine robbery. At the controls was a skillful and common sense pilot for whom water vapour is that whitish gas you see over a pot of boiling water. Since he did not see this gas around him that day, he deduced that he was flying in air without water vapour. His aircraft was experiencing carburetor icing due to water vapour. This incident, which could have caused a crash, surprised the pilot because it was an inexplicable fact for him at the time. And yet…
