The accuracy of the GPS and GLONASS network

The GLO 2 receiver can receive position information from the GPS and GLONASS satellite constellations. This gives it an additional 24 satellites compared to units that use GPS alone. This allows the GLO 2 receiver to acquire satellite signals 20% faster and maintain the connection even at high speeds. In addition, the GLO 2 receiver updates its position information 10 times per second, up to 10 times more frequently than the GPS receivers built into many mobile devices.

Android devices require a GLO 2-compatible application to access all features of the GLO 2 receiver.
