First flight on March 18, 1945, and is then named "Dauntless II". On May 5, 1945, Douglas was awarded a contract for the supply of 548 Dauntless IIs, reduced to 277 at the end of the hostilities, a veritable bomb truck, as it could carry a variety of weapons from 3,630 kg to 4,350 kg. The last Skyraider came off the Douglas lines on February 18, 1958 at the El Segundo factory in California, closing a production of 3180 Skyraider.... France was the second country to be equipped with it and received 113 units. Model in the colors of the EC 2/20 Ouarsenis during the Algerian war. Model: L39x48cm, made of solid wood, carved and painted by hand, on a varnished Acacia base with engraved plaque. 1/30th
